Road Opening
Road opening application (LTA prompt) includes the application for temporary access, road closure, excavation to road and trial pit, and shoring on roadside.
An application has to be submitted for works that will be carried out in or near public areas such as road reserves, drainage reserves, HDB-managed roads and car parks, JTC-managed roads and land as well as State land. These include parking a vehicular crane on the road to carry out hoisting work or a boom lift on the road to carry out painting work to building facades. Please refer to the following table for the different locations of works and the corresponding agencies that require applications to be submitted.
